    sir DD, your comments on maintaining a crdi version of getz. are the injectors/fuel system expensive to replace/repair when needed?

    Normal ba na may lumalabas na kaunting usok galing sa compressor outlet ng turbo papunta sa intercooler?
    2.8 jdm pajero 98, AT, 4m40 engine. Normal ito...

    This is a very good car. All common rail injectors (Bosch, Denso, etc.) are expensive to repair. Getz injectors are well built and last long....as long as original fuel filters are used, and injectors are not touched by unauthorized people.

    Sir DD pls help... I have my 2011 montero suddenly giving loud engine knocking noise and thick black smoke pag slowly going up sa bridge or basta pataas. Tunog nya is loud loose tappet sound pero malakas talaga na takatakatak sound. Nkakatakot prang me mababasag na pyesa. Pag nasimulan nun khit sa patag basta aarangkada uusok ng husto tpos at certain rpm mga 1.7 mag knock na sya. Need ko biritin agad pra bumilis na at mawala un sound at usok.

    Pag rekta sa hway wala nmn prob, ganun din pag naka idle. Do you think me prob na injector ko? 46kkm p lng odo rdg ng car ko sir. Nagpalinis ako egr nun 40kkm at palit lahat fuel n air filter. Pls help advise sir. Nakakasira ba ng engine un knocking sound na yun? Pls help tnx!

    Pls help advise sir. Nakakasira ba ng engine un knocking sound na yun? Pls help tnx! Shempre meron pwdeng masira kung meron abnormal na tunog. Dapat ma-identify kung ano talaga ang problem.

    I brought my Monty sa casa and they performed SIQL on it. Wala naman daw na-detect na problem pero they heard the knocking sound with minor jerking ng engine after the test... When the engine revving has been released.

    They checked the air filter and found it clean since it was just replaced 2 mos ago. The mechanic checked the connectors if ok too.

    As a last step, they just hosed the exhaust with water to take out the carbon deposits

    When I drove it home still theres some excessive white smoke. But as I used it the following day, even today the heavy smoking and knocking sound did not occur anymore.

    Could the SIQL have corrected the setting of my injector or anything? Hopefully its really fixed now.

    Hopefully its really fixed now. Sana, but I doubt it. From experience, the problem may happen again if the the fault was not identified because the proper fix was not applied.

    Hi sir DD... Dont know din meaning but it is the diagnostic test and correction of setting thru PC nila. Until now ok pa rin sir... Hopefully ok na talaga un nging prob. Tnx sir!

    Napalitan ko na po ulit yung mga injectors, di npo tumataas yung langis, pero medyo malakas ko ang vibration ramdam po sa loob lalo na pag naka idle (kahit naka neutral-mas malakas pag nasa drive nasa drive naman po mas mahina).


    Ano po kaya ang problema nito?

    SIR DD.... yung diesel ENGINE ko na 2.0 VGT a/t Turbo (MB engine).... pag nakahinto then nilagay ko sa DRIVE... parang tumataas ang idling or parang nag on ang turbo at may naririnig akong mahinang sound na parang tumutope... ngayon ko lang napancin kasi hindi naman ako nagbubukas ng bintana... hindi ko alam kung normal ba o hindi...

    Need ko na po ba linisin ang egr?
