I used my good old suoer batt charger the other day on my semi garage queen and the whole process took about half-a- day.

I have one and I've been using it for more than a year. Some says that the stock battery for i-Stop won't last for more than 2 years.

I'll come back here next year and update you.

some reviews say that the mode button sometimes stops working. yun lang ang nakikita kong issue sa ctek. But I am eyeing on this charger too. Maybe I will buy ctek mxs 5.0 this coming June. Actually, I bought Panther Manual Charger 6a 2 days ago. It is a good manual charger you know. Unfortunately, nagkaiba ung connection ng positive at negative. Ayun, naisra ung fuse.haha. Ok lang naman kasi de fuse lang. Ung fuse lang a nasira.haha

One thing is, I don't have to worry about the terminals being interchanged. I have this permanent connection:

If you have a couple of cars, then you can buy the terminals separately.

There was an instance, I left the car for two straight days. Since it is a smart charger, it is smart enough not to overcharge it.

I used it once to revive this battery:

I'm supposed to use it but I still haven't. Anyways, for two days it kept on giving me "not charging status" until finally it was able to charge.

I'm not saying this is the best, but this is recommended by *travajante and I trust the guy.

For your other inquiry, I'm not familiar or I don't have the "mode button".

What's the wiser take,- this CTEK charger or the jumpstarter?

[In my case kasi,- if matagal kami sa biyahe,- tanggal ang koneksyon ng baterya....]
