Reverse Light Bulb "Upgrade"

ok palitan ng led lights ang reverse light basta clear lens... kapag fresnel or frosted ang lens mas ok pa din halogen.
better yet install an aftermarket reverse light.. that way sure kang kita mo nasa likod mo.

sakin, i opted to have a separate switch na pwede ko i-toggle pag need ko additional light while backing up, para hindi naman nakaka disturb pag hindi ko need maliwanag.

based sa spec posted in OLX, i assume 60W is equivalent brightness nya with stock bulb. 5.5W lang kasi ang actual power consumption nya. tama ba?

Nagpalit ako LED na 60 watts. Saglit lang naman kasi si umiilaw so puwede naman kahit mataas kesa sa stock wattage na usually 20+ watts. Single contact lang yan afaik. Bette check and bring sample kapag bibili ka na. Mas mura ata sellers online kesa sa mga auto shop but I;m not sure about that.

clear naman yung lens ng sakin bro. yung nabili kong elevo 27 watts di maliwanag. mas maliwanag pa yung 21w osram (or pareho lang). anyway returned it nalang and had it replaced with scratch remover and 3 MF cloth LOL (wala masyadong mapiling products doon)

Am using double contact bulbs for my reverse lights for one of our rides,- P21W (5W/21W) - yellowish.... - DIY.

5W (not so bright- even if the lens is 'clear') for the position or park lights - added visibility on the road.

And 21W for reverse.....

di ako satisfied sa 21w osram stock bulb ko hehehe
prefer ko kung pwede eh kasing lakas ng head light pero low wattage kay LED talaga bagsak ko. baka kasi masunog yung contacts pag masyado mataas (40 watts yata ang ordinary bulb na katumbas nung gusto ko)

Been also thinking about this. Ang mahal pala. 1.5k for those generic bulbs?? Anyway, I have reverse cam which is very clear even in low light so hintay muna ako magbaba ng price ang LEDs. Not that I need brighter reverse lights but because I find it odd na filament bulb yung reverse and turn lights. Been looking at Philips X-Treme Ultinon LEDs (more or less $20 with 12Yr warranty). Hirap lang maghanap.
