April 13th, 2015 07:05 PM #121let's not get too excited. theory lang naman talaga yung labanan kasi yung kotse na iniisip mo wala pa naman actual unit at theoretical lang din naman. for discussion's sake, power to weight ratio is a good metric pero it is not the be-all and end-all kung baga so that's beside the point. kung yung pinaglalaban is kung posible o hindi yung kotse na iniisip mo, posible. yun nga lang maraming trade-offs (safety, makupad, reliability, baduy, etc.) some of these points are valid, some are subjective and you can get a general feel of how car enthusiasts (albeit not the general public) would feel about your planned car. now for a lot of people here, the trade-offs are not acceptable pero kung for you ok lang kahit redline ka na at 60kph lang pero maporma kotse mo, then why not? no need to argue. 60kph naman ang minimum sa tollways natin so i don't see how that would be a safety issue kung pasok naman. maingay nga lang ang kotse mo at yung relative konsumo would be more because of the added load (weight, aerodynamic, etc) compared sa walang load.

April 13th, 2015 07:18 PM #122while i consider your question as silly, may be this can enlighten you. weight-power ratio. ang weight ng tricycle, say 200 kilos plus 7 persons*50/person =550 kilos lahat, as against sa power ng 175cc tricycle. para makita mo ang point ko, compare the maximum output ng 175cc bike without load, then its maximum output with the 550kls load. maybe you got my point already. if the max speed at a certain rpm is, say, 130kph without load, can you expect the same speed with 550 kls load? kaya yong tricyle mong sinasabi, can never hit even 60kph with load, kasi underpower na siya, dahil sa weight ng load. by the way, a review in physics can help you on this. anyway, its your money, walang basagan ng trip dito.[/QUOTE]
Thanks. Hehe.. Nice idea of computation.. Sir, how about up hill? Ilang degree kaya niyang akyatin?

errr... before asking the second question... how do you know if his computation is correct or not?

Sir makupad lang siguro ang issue.. Hehe.. Safety? Baduy? Reliable? Parang hindi naman..
