Reminiscing...what cars did your family have when you were still in grade school?

early 80's ako grade school. these are what i remember:

1. mid 70's corona sedan
2. mid 70's corona 2-door which my tito used to drag race in greenhills.
3. mid 70's toyota crown
4. minica
5. and lastly, a ford laser hatchback

back then halos di kami gumagamit ng aircon kasi sobrang mahal ng gas caused by the oil embargo, or was it iran-iraq war? anyway, pero ok lang noon kasi hindi ganun kainit at wala masyadong traffic and pollution. only with the laser kami naging particular sa aircon. haaay those were the days...

first car ni erpat is owner type jeep siya lang nagassemble paunti unti..(dun ako sinakay nung pinanganak ako!) 1994 - after nun is ung assembled na tamaraw may a/c pang service ni erpat pagpumapasok.. after nun is L300 versa van(2000), and ung 91 na corrola na taxi dati nirestore lang ni erpat(2000)..

I guess I must be getting old, cause I also remember riding in one of these:



It had four doors though, and an 8-track player. Haha.

There was this other VW that i couldn't remember the name of, only that it had an "Automatic" badge on the rear. After some research on the web, it turns out my dad used to have a Karmann Ghia:



I guess my dad was a bit of a car nut during his time as well.

Early grade school: Opel Rekord 2.0 and Ford Cortina 2.0E

When I graduated it was already a 97 Corolla XL. Damn! I miss those cars

then assembled AUV uso dito samin yun e..

I remember during my grade school, my dad had a Ford Transit, an original Ford Fierra, Isuzu/GM Gemini, a 60's Mercedes-Benz 190D "Batmobile", and a stainless owner jeep. My dad was in a talyer and automobile buy and sell business back then which would explain the number of cars we had at the time.

I later learned to drive on an '82 Toyota Starlet 5-door during high school.
