September 25th, 2019 10:49 AM #4same with panyero- (if you are really a member of the bar).
bought my apha zs as a test buy, plus I have dealt with tccci in the legal field as an opposing counsel.
i was a bit impressed since the test drive unit is actually way worst than the brand new unit that I got.
power- it can get you there, plus there is this s mode and manual mode hence if you need power, its there.
the next on the list for me to buy is the geely coolray as a wedding gift (but you really know why hehehe)
don't get me wrong wps and bajo de masinloc is ours and ours alone _ PH territory. but why hate china if they do give us a better product than a ford ecosport but is as big as a cx5????
kung pumalya man mg ko eh di mag demandahan kami ni tccci since it would not really cost me that much since halos sa court na ako nakatira, yun lang yun.
and yeah baout bashers- bashers will be bashers. kags will be kags, ob will be ob, and mini would be mini.

Point naman dito is kung nasan na, wag ng baguhin.
Ang dating kasi is parang kinakahiya na chinesse car to kaya gusto ilabas sa other topics eh.

September 22nd, 2019 08:01 PM #9Finally saw the ZS (and the 20T). For the price, it really is properly packaged and i couldnt immediately find any 'glaring' fault with the fit and finish based ln what i saw.
Granted, all they had in the showroom were TOTL units so i wasn't able to see the base and mid tier of either (didn't ask for a test drive as well). But for what it is worth, color me surprised and impressed.
I asked the agent specifically about the ZS EV. I know she isn't high up the ladder but she 'said' there is some discussion about it but no word if they can/would bring it here.
On that note, i know the TOTL in the showroom could be best foot forward for what you see, but could it also be they are mostly moving base and mid trims, rather than TOTL?
Was just thinking about it after i left.
The ZS was roomy for me, front or back even adjusting for my almost 6ft slim build. It would be comfty for 4 adults plus a kid. I wouldnt recommend fitting 5 there.
The rear cargo area was large though and that surprised me. I thought it would be more 'cramped'.
Now, im actually looking forward to see the geely showroom open along edsa and drop by in the future just to see it in the metal.
What i found odd though, was i could onlt find both the ZS and 20T have tilt adjustment, but neither had telescopic/reach adjustment.
Agent also told me you can have it serviced with chevrolet in North edsa or via mobile garage. Not sure if it applies to 'any' chevrolet service center of chevy phils though.
If i were in dire need for a sub 1m php vehicle for city driving, the ZS would certainly be included in that consideration as it has the flexibility and space inside (wish it had rear vents like the 20T though but that might be asking too much... Hehe)
EDIT : im going to leave the error there because i had to check the website to go confirm my suspicion. The 20T i keep mentioning is actually the RX5. But you'd have to forgive me for that because the unit at centris had the 20T badge attached to the rear. I actually asked the agent there '20T, so 2.0turbo?' asking while pointing out the 20T letters at the back.
The reply was, '1.5 sir but with turbo...'
Did they forget to change that detail before bringing it in?
I just find it a little funny.
Edit 2 : also have no idea how the ZS style plus AT is kitted out as it can't be found on their online brochure.

SAIC has ventures w/ VW & GM, both Beijing obliged. Their acquisition & resurrection of the MG marque allowed some Anglo offered cheap...at Chinese prices. And, the question on Brit automotive engineering?...Inject your jokes here.... That's another story.[emoji13]
Personally, I wish this & Geely to be PH success stories. The keys? Product & pricing must come w/ long term support & quality service.
