December 17th, 2019 02:42 AM #191I've also seent hose Korean cars in ISIS videos most notable the Starex. Hell of a way to publicity for yours vehicles. Granted the Hilux did get it's rep from being the technical of choice for rebel groups. LOL
Back on topic though so MG is a UK brand but their cars are Made in China? Is it really that simple? Or it's a lot more complicated than that?

Its still a UK brand, but owners are now Chinese. By SAIC motors, afaik.

Big difference between Jaguar/LR and MG is that the former are still designed by the Brits and mostly built in Britain, while MG is purely designed and built by the Chinese.
Net, MG is only British by name but Chinese everywhere else. Jaguar, LR and Volvo are just foreign-funded but still keep their European roots.
