Remember we have only 2 local car factories in the Philippines, so majority are shipped and then stored in open-air lots so they are exposed to salt, heat and rain. I topped up at a gas station along SLEX next to a car-carrier filled with SUVs that rhymes with "dearest" and they all had water stains, the white colored SUVs in particular had very prominent brown lines. The pahinante said they would be repainted/buffed when it reached the dealers though.

there was a time when Toyotas and Nissans were driven from Batangas to their dealerships...
I know since our parent company (my previous job) was the only company locally with car carriers
Imagine driving out of the dealership with your precious brand new Toyota... only to find out it was driven as if there was no tomorrow from Batangas...
