    Hello Everyone,

I'm kinda new to the forum and I'm a foreigner, so please forgive me if I'm gonna post in English .

I have a Trailblazer 2014 LTZ and willing to do the regular maintenance outside the CASA. It has 25K on it's Odometer.

1- Will it be safe to use ZIC X7 Diesel Engine Oil instead of Dexos2? I'm gonna use a 5W-30 as the Owner Manual suggests.

2- I think it's also time for an ATF change, saw some MAG1 DEXERON-VI and I wanna give it a try, is it okay or I better go with the OEM ACDeldo Dexeron-VI?

3- Do we have a Pane somewhere where we can drop, clean and change the ATF filter and place a new gasket or is it a sealed system? If yes, where can I buy these filters please? I'm looking for a complete flush since the shifting is kinda sluggish, wanna remove all in the torque converter as well as the line cooler.

4- For the Engine Coolant, what brand do you recommend and where to buy it? Or do you suggest I go OEM?

5- Does the 2014 TB have a DPF or just the simple EGR? Can't find any mention about it in the Owner Manual. Asked also the CASA if it has an EGR and if we can clean it and they were all clueless.

6- Drive Belt and Timing Belt. I'm willing to change these 2 as well because it's not worth the risk, I wish we got chains but fact is a fact. Does anyone know a good chevrolet shop where I can do the job correctly? Fronte was hesitating since the car is kinda new to them. Also any idea about the labor cost?

7- Transfer case 4x4 Oil. Even though I didn't do any offroading. Owner Manual suggests at 80K interval or 40K severe condition.

8- Car is kinda new. Do you suggest an under chassis inspection? Where to do it?

9- How to reset the Change Oil Reminder on the Dashboard?

    Thanks in advance guys .

    1. If that zic oil meets acea c3 requirements then yes. It's should be written on the bottle. (Htts 3.5 and above)
    2. I use dex6 on my torque converter. Mag1 is an ok brand in the US.
    3. No need to open the pan. You can however do a full drain from shops with a transtech equipment.
    4. Engine coolant stick with oem.
    5. Most likely no dpf. Egr cleaning can be done by shops listed
    6. Shops can do this. I'll list below
    7. Follow 40k
    8. Underchasis nut and bolt tightening.
    9. No idea

    Shops to consider
    Zix performance fb available
    Servitek full service
    Powertorq fb available

    Hi.

I have a 2015 Trailblazer LT and at 45000kms have issues in the front suspension area. according to a Previous Chevy mechanic, the bushings for the shock absorbers are being recalled and they (chevy) have a "campaign". (his term) and will replace the parts. Is this true>=? how do you go about this?

Are there any more parts that are being recalled?

    thanks very much

am not sure if you have completed your PMS
    1. should be OK
    2. just ensure it's dexron VI
    3. what casa does is just drain it. always buy my chevy parts at Thunder Automotive - Banawe/Binondo
    4. AC/DELCO (available at Thunder...)
    5. no need for cleaning as per casa technician. they just scan/clean my EGR sensor when i got a fault shown on my dashboard
    6. changed mine at 90+K ODO. casa has a special tool to set into its timing to factory setting. suggest to buy all belts and pulleys/pump at Thunder and let them change it for you.
    7. done my all oil change at 40k ODO reading
    8. not necessary
    9. depress the gas pedal 3x within within 5 sec at ON (switch) position.

5W-30 try mo Motorcraft dyan. swabeng-swabe ang Ford 5W-30 FS.
coolant - basta kulay greenish yellow, mag Prestone ka nalang, pero dapat talaga specify ethylene glycenol ba yun

yun AT fluid and Trasnfer case fluid, wag na noh.

25k pa yan saka 2014. timing belt pang 50K or 7 years. actually nga dapat pag 80K yan

EGR. i takbo mo na lang hanggang TPLEX and back. Italian tuneup, de-carbonized na yan

for under chassis checkup, sa shell or sa bridgestone. they're honest tip ka na din sa mechanic para smile sya
