My wife went to Growl (recommended by Chev North Edsa) in Makati to fix the issue with my Android HU. If you want to have a GPS, you need to purchase a card which cost you 3K. My wife is using her iphone hotspot app to connect in HU.

*kiwileader88 i tried po but no hidden menus appeared. the only access i can do using my android phone is the audio player and phone call lang through bluetooth connection.

*jesqatar nice... but im thinking of using gps through my phone's app. by the way i like your head unit better than mine. =( i hate mine (not my photo) ano nga pala difference ng ganito with yours po?



my dealer didnt even bother telling us how it works as soon as they turn over the unit. pati agent hindi alam how. :seeth:
a while ago (4 weeks later) i got a call from my Chevy Dealer and they said theyll upgrade or maybe replace my head unit, probably by nextweek since ordering new parts might took five days.
i cant even use my TPMS kasi.... which is offered for the 2015 TB.
parang napipilitan pa ata sila.

Hello Vincentalfred22,
Im pretty sure your HU got problem. TPMS can only access via hidden menu and mirroring as well. Try with other LTZ at their showroom for the hidden menu. Good luck.

aside from its looks... which one is newer? better? bigger?

3rd party / alternative ang HU niya and its not supported with the future firmware upgrade release for Mylink. Example the new apple carplay and android auto firmware upgrades. Its already available just a matter of green lights from Chevrolet Phillipines. I cannot comment if his TPMS compatibility with his HU as well.

On a side note our current HU with the current firmware is fully compatible with Androids, It worked OK with my daughter Samsung Android. If you ask dealership it might an opposite answer. Remember some dealership are pushing sales for commision not to serve on your best interest.

When my wife purchase our TB, they offered her the "smart car navi" HU. As per explanation nong SC namin yng free 2 head rest is not compatible with the HU na nakakabit na sa unit. gusto ko rin gamitin yng head rest monitor nya para hindi mabored mga kids once naglong drive kami to mindanao. To be honest, hindi ko pa nasakyan ang new toy namin since i'm still here abroad. So far no complain naman tungkol sa HU its working alright after Growl fixed it.

How about the riding comfort of your new TB? mine at first, sabi ni misis medyo matagtag daw pero ng pinalitan ng nitro ang hangin sa gulong super swabe na ang rides.
