nice ang ganda ng Cruze! nabasa ko sa TG yung measurements nyan. mas malaki sya ng konti sa Civic FD at 1.8L ang engine nya with 141HP.

March 2nd, 2010 12:13 AM #55I actually find the front more appealing than the aging Civic FD and its other competitors. Test drive anyone?

Nakita ko rin 'to sa MOA kagabi! Hehe... In fairness, maganda siya; I like its styling more than the Civic (which is too edgy for my tastes). It looks hefty and muscular. The interior appearance looks good, but the choice of materials could have been a little better. Marami kasing cheap-feeling parts eh, yung tipong gawa sa plastic na madaling maputol. The black/gray/silver color scheme is on the sporty side. Sana matipid sa gas 'to tsaka maganda ang performance. Sana rin hindi mahal ang maintenance.
This is a solid product in GM's lineup. A big improvement!

The new Chevy Cruze beats out the Honda Civic in Top Gear Phils. March issue 1.8L Comparo!
Though with lesser power to weight ratio(it's larger in all dimensions compared with its competitors), the Cruze wins due to its strength in value for money department.

March 2nd, 2010 01:06 PM #59Just found out it's also being produced in the GM plant in Korea but it isn't a rebadged Daewoo anymore, real genuine GM design. I'm guessing this is one of the many cars they will start producing after their bankruptcy and restructuring efforts. Would you prefer a car made in Thailand such as the Corolla or Civic or one made from Korea?
