March 6th, 2011 01:58 PM #3821I'm not surprised that the Cruze VCDi is expensive, it's coming in CBU from Korea with 30% import duty, versus Focus TDCi which is a Sta. Rosa CKD with 0% duty.
I think the diesel-fed compact segment is kind of small right now, average of 20 units sales per month in 2010 from 1 brand. It's really just a pricey niche product.
The outgoing Focus TDCi is PHP1.195M for both sedan and hatch. I wonder if Ford will be able to maintain the pricing for the new Focus. Does anyone know?
Cheers.

March 8th, 2011 11:00 AM #3828[quote=mtbjr;1689452]Visited Chevy Pasig yesterday because of the cooling problem of my aircon for the 2nd time since I got my unit last NOV 2010. Sir awallit had my air filter cleaned last DEC 2010 and it returned to normal, but cooling problems returned for 2 weeks now so I had it checked. Daily driver from Marikina to Makati via EDSA & C5 kaya siguro ganun kabilis dumumi ang filter kahit naka-on ang air circulation.
Sobrang itim ng old air filter and they advised me to replace it since nilinis na yun dati, free labor pero I paid for the air filter at 845php. Puwede kayang ibabad ito para pumuti uli siya so I can reuse it? I plan to canvass this weekend sa Banawe para may reserve na ako.
Yup thats right, we should find that store who sells this pollen filter at a lower cost so that we can DIY it when its all dirty and black. this filter is good for another 5000 kms pa din mga sir. submerge it in water with a mild powder detergent for a few minutes and give it a gentle shake to loosen up the dirt then rinse with clean water, dry it under the sun then its good to go for another 5k kms and you can dispose it after.

well, its just me, di advisable labhan ang ac filter. bugahan ng pressurized air ok pa...pero ibabad sa tubig then patuyuin, ayaw ko.
2 piso ko lang yan mga cruze lovers....wag masamain....
