I hope more people would realize that brand new car ownership does not stop at the car itself but also includes the aftersales services of the casa during & after the warranty period.
As I have mentioned before, I don't really fault the car (much). The car is really nice overall.
It is the Chevy brand that I am worried about. As many previous Chevy vehicle owners have experienced, Chevy was known to have expensive parts and labor and frequently parts are not available, requiring a long wait for it to be ordered and shipped to the Philippines.
The "new" management of Chevy has promised major changes including cheaper labor & parts and immediate availability of spare parts too. But it seems the reality of the situation is falling far short of the promises made.Last edited by ghosthunter; November 19th, 2010 at 05:04 PM.

Sir, how're you doing? Ayaw mo na ba i-follow up yung cruze mo? Mas maganda ba sir yung LT na loaner car? ha ha ha
Si sir electone na una nagpa-PMS. Sir how's the weather down south? Ok pa rin ba ride ng cruze mo, wala pa mga rattles, ticks, or buzzes?

November 19th, 2010 06:03 PM #2424for whatever its worth, my cruze's engine sprocket gave in last monday (hence the check engine indicator going off) went to my dealer tuesday (chevy shaw) s.a told me that they will have to request for that part kasi nga it's not readily available.come wednesday i made a follow-up to the parts requestor (mam julie) and she told me that saturday is the delivery time for the sprocket that was requested, told her that i have a scheduled out of town trip on saturday and i'll use my cruze so i requested her to fast track the delivery because this will be inconvenient on my part.Julie didn't promised but said she will try to have the parts ready before saturday.true enough she called me thursday morning informing me that the requested part is ready come lunchtime, i immediately went to their shop 130pm and the service people began to work on my cruze.their office is only til 5pm but they extended til 545pm til my cruze is perfectly fitted with a new engine sprocket.sometimes we just need to be open to the service centers so that special accommodations can be arranged,im very happy with the service i got from chevy shaw hence this story of how customers must be taken cared of by dealers. i do hope other chevy service people realize this (dont even know if this little win by chevy shaw will be read/circulated to the other dealers) but i guess they are really trying.

November 19th, 2010 06:15 PM #2425Ah may sa shaw din pala. Anyways, since your cruze is still under warranty, did you pay for that particular sprocket? Did they charge you?

November 19th, 2010 06:22 PM #2428What was committed was committed eeeyaaan. TCCCI does not get bad ratings because of Chevy Pasig. They are working with us to build the brand. If there are dealers that do not commit to the standard PMS, they should be dealt with accordingly by the Distributor who protects the Brand. I myself will be their no. 1 supporter and willing ally on this.
If you have issues with Chevy Pasig, any commitment by my team that they did not commit to, let me know! I'm dead serious in every commitment I made in this thread.

November 19th, 2010 06:40 PM #2430Sir Awallit,
Since you are part of the whole chevy team, may I suggest that you will bring the following matters into your meetings with the big bosses.
1. Uniform pricing for all service centers of chevy. This way, we can have it serviced to the service center nearest us para naman makatipid kami sa gas and we don't have to worry about different prices of labors and parts.
2. Make the rest of your dealers to COMMIT 100% to what have been committed and make no mistakes in making unnecessary excuses.
And for us, cruze owners, let it be a lesson to check before hand (ask quotations from different dealers/service stations and for the benefit of us all here, POST IT para alam ng lahat kung may pagkakaiba at para malaman din natin kung saan tayo magpapaservice na hindi tayo tinataga.
Let us all join forces para ma-improve ang service ng chevy. Mag-ingay tayo kung kinakailangan para mabigyan pansin kaagad ang ating mga problema.
