Would prefer to have some office work resumed (gradually and when safe) - down to 2 key things:
1. Online meetings are stressful, take longer, and have less of the human dynamic that helps close decisions faster.
2. My food expenses have gone up because I haven't been able to charge my meals. [emoji2957]

Bro jut, for #1, that will be the new normal for a while. Even if people will start coming to the office, mass gathering wont be allowed or at least meetings will be limited to a few people. Safe distancing have to be observed it would turn out better to meet online even in the office.
For #2, that would be part of the cost recovery, along with the savings from utilities, to defray the drop in sales.

1. For us, we'll return to office 1 month after ECQ lifting so likely July, in time for a new fiscal. Only a % of the workforce will be asked to return though - just the ones needed for critical meetings. Unfortunately I fall under that piece so will have to deal with the new normal office operations.
2. You know our industry bro, not as impacted by the ECQ. So there really are corporate savings from our reduced represenation and travel costs. I account our monthly household expenses and our food expense has increased by about 10% since ECQ started.

True. Rise in cost of electricity and water is eating up the budget plus the order in as we grew tired of home cooking. I feel like nag social distancing na rin ang zipper ng pants ko. [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]
Btw, mental health is an important factor to consider as well. Hopefully your HR is working on something to address cabin fever and ecq fatigue.

I heard stories of people losing it during the lockdown.
Take it easy. I'm sure yung kausap mo sa kabilang linya ganon na ganon din nararamdaman. Afterall, tao lang tayo.
Also, our minds tend to wander during this time. Practice mindfulness and focus on the here and now.
Lastly, pwede mag vent sa tsikot. 🤣
