Wala naman namimilit to uninstall Shopee. Since my 20s, if I don't agree with how a company does its business, I don't patronize it. It won't hurt them a bit if I don't give them their business but it's all about principle.
Funny, my friend taught herself to cook Baked Salmon wag lang mag Conti's.
Anyway, basta ako ganito na ko even pre electionsI think getting sanctimonious Toni as their endorser was the final nail in the coffin for a lot of people, hindi na kasing ganda ang shopee like when it started. Even a tsikoteer that's a seller said Lazada treats sellers better.

Majority of twitter users are class c, yung mga feeling nakiki-uso.
Dito sa tsikot ilan may twitter account? 3/4 din twitter users sa Pinas mga babae, sino ba malakas mag-cancel hehe. Lalaki or babae.
Huwag i-twist mga bagay-bagay na walang basehan. Tandaan, panalo si PDuts at 88M sa lahat ng class levels. Hindi talino ginagamit sa pagboboto sa Pinas.

September 30th, 2022 09:47 AM #1923Sea Ltd’s SE.N e-commerce arm told employees on September 8 it was shutting local operations in Chile, Colombia and Mexico, and leaving Argentina entirely, according to three sources with direct knowledge of the matter and an internal email.
The Singapore-based company will maintain cross-border operations in the first three markets but will cut the majority of its teams in the countries, affecting dozens of employees, the sources said. Brazil, in which Shopee has become a dominant player, will not be affected.
In an internal email seen by Reuters, Shopee Chief Executive Chris Feng wrote to employees that “in light of the current elevated macro uncertainty,” the company needed to “focus resources on core operations” and had decided to concentrate on a cross-border model in Mexico, Colombia and Chile.
Shopee confirmed later in a statement to Reuters it would operate a “cross-border model in Chile, Colombia and Mexico, and close in Argentina.”
Sea saw its market value soar to more than $200 billion last October as its gaming and e-commerce units surged in popularity during the pandemic, but its shares have tumbled since then and are now worth just $27 billion.
Sea’s leadership have given internal directives to Shopee managers to achieve profitability in its key markets in Southeast Asia by 2023, a separate source told Reuters.
“Shopee has been around for seven to eight years … so now they have to focus their effort on turning a profit at its core markets,” said Ke Yan, lead analyst at Singapore-based DZT Research.
Shopee announced in March it was shutting down nascent operations in India and France.
In June, Shopee cut jobs across its e-commerce and food delivery divisions, according to sources, both in Southeast Asia and its Latin American operations. Shopee has also rescinded dozens of job offers in the past two weeks, Reuters reported earlier this week.
Staff at Sea’s gaming livestream app, which is part of Sea’s gaming unit Garena, were told they would be let go, separate sources told Reuters, adding that projects at Sea’s development unit were also shut down.

September 30th, 2022 02:33 PM #1924Shopee i think is the only one that fully allows pirated and fake goods.
alam ko mayrun din sa Lazada pero not as rampant as Shopee.
The only good think with shopee is the Voucher system is just a click away.
Dun kasi sa Lazada, minsan hindi nasasama sa yung voucher before the final check out. hahanapin mo pa tapos minsan required to type it in unlike sa shopee just click tapos automatic na mag apply.

Oh wow! Wala na nga! Sep 30 Payday sale they still had kasi I still have a hundreds of coins so I did not uninstall shopee yet
It's like Shopee is driving away it's customers
Pero may term sa ginawa ng Shopee, I remember this in grad school, it's a marketing strategy when a company or brand is at its initial stage and offers a lot of discounts and freebies etc, to become known, once they have captured the market they slowly withdraw these come ons. Unfortunately the 21st century (esp 2020s) is very different and it's harder to gain brand loyalty now.
