parang hindi ko na nakikita si TG sa Shopee app hehe. lately puro Lazada ako, mas mabilis ang delivery.

gusto maka bawi ng shopee ngayong 11.11. every Christmas season, si JMC naman talaga endorser nila starting September pa nga lang, bakit kasi pinalitan pa nila ni TG ayan nangyari tuloy hehe.

Goodbye Shopee na talaga. My friends that uninstalled the app did NOT miss anything. It's hard to find 0 shipping anymore. I got some but most have P7 up to P19 left

The official stores where I usually buy have HUGE shipping in Shoppee (P100+ after discount) even after I tried all the available vouchers. I checked Lazada for exactly the same items and guess what? Free shipping!

Also, there are no cash back vouchers anymore for bills payments so I will just do direct BPI payment.

To be fair, TG was immensely popular.

But they forgot that majority of the people she is popular with have very little purchasing power.

all along i felt what shopee was doing was unsustainable

they were able to do what they did by burning cash

they had to make customers feel like every transaction is a steal

to do that they were subsidizing customers

people went like "grabe ang sulit! how do they make money? di ba sila nalulugi?"

well nagpapalugi nga sila

yan ang strategy nila to attract customers and make customers use the app a lot

pero hindi sustainable yan

ano sila may unli $$$?

I’m still ok with shoppee even without free shipping. It’s the convenience naman and importante.

Iniisip ko ganun din naman gagastusin pag ilaw mismo bumili sa tindahan. Parking fee and all. Ito antayin mo na deliver.

i try to find same items both in shopee and lazada and see which turns out cheaper. lately for the most part lumalabas mas mura sa lazada pero there are still times na mas nakakatipid ako sa shopee. a year or two ago mas lamang may nakikuha ako mura sa shopee.

yes they do po



they sacrificed profit for growth

they spent tons on money on promotions

to get people to use the app more often

May charge using shopee platform to sell your products.. dyan siguro nila offset ang costs.. and maybe in advertisements ng big sellers
