Truthfully, the thing I like about MLMs is their corporate structure. Performance is directly proportional to your income. Unlike our corporate ladder where sometimes the boss throws all of their work to his/her subordinates. In that sense, I like the more even playing field.

Madami naman talaga pwede kunan ng products. For example, you can import stuff from China using Alibaba (just be careful of bogus peeps) and use the products as your core MLM product. It's never much naman about product development but really the selling.

The Philippines isn't the only one that's littered with MLMs. Last time I was in Shanghai, ang dami din nagyayaya. In fact, I can argue that China probably has a bigger MLM bubble than the Philippines. In a way, masuto-uto sila doon and this is coming from me.

My wife's uncle are among the ones who joined first when FLP is just stretching out its wings. He was a good speaker and people actually listen to him when he talks. I think he recruited lots of people because he was able to buy a BK Pajero last 2010 so i'm pretty sure he's earning lots because his day job was only an agent of some insurance company.

My mindset for ANY MLM company is: Kung nauna kang nakapang-loko, malaki possibility na yumaman ka. That is kung yung mga naloko mo magaling din mangloko at makakapang loko din

More even playing field kasi kahit sino pwedeng mangloko.

Good incentive structure is one thing, but these companies don't focus on selling the product. They focus on selling the idea to another person that they can get filthy rich too.

Yung mga nasa taas ba ng MLM, yumaman dahil magaling magbenta ng produkto? Hindi. Nandun sila dahil magaling sila mangloko.

Ang bungad ng kahit sinong MLM ay hindi "would you like to try this great product" but instead "gusto mo ba yumaman". Sabay pakita ng hiniram na sports car.

I love sports cars more than the average joe but I'm not impressed at all with these MLM folks because they lead such materialistic lives and marami naman sa kanila utang lang lahat - kasi nga materialistic so they just have to have the latest toys instead of spending it on more valuable things like businesses, education, and the welfare of their family.

My thoughts exactly. These people have awfully imbalanced finances - ganda ganda ng kotse pero walang investments, bahay, or other assets.

Mas impressive for me ang taong may diversified portfolio kaysa sa taong nakaFerrari tapos nakatira sa Tondo.

yeah they have to sell that idea coz they're less likely to convince people to join for the products alone

why would people pay 10k for 2 boxes of herbal drink?

but people would pay 10k for the opportunity to make 100k or more/month

it's the promise of riches that convince people to join

at magaling manloko ang mga naloko. at magaling din manloko ang mga naloko ng mga manloloko hehe

    products are secondary

    products legitimize a pyramiding scheme
