Questions About MLM/Networking

Also, I know about 15 of my batchmates na nag-MLM. So far, 2 lang naman yung allegedly malaki na yung income.

Yung isa nakakuha daw 6M dahil nakareach siya ng certain level. Pero nakataxi pa rin. Iniisip ko lang kung totoong may 6M siya kahit basic na secondhand na kotse bibili siya for mobility. Yung isa naman may pahashtag #sixfigures pang nalalaman sa instagram.

mukhang may scam part ung nagsabing kumita ng 6M pero naka taxi,

Thing is, those people could've gotten decent corporate jobs. As fresh grads they could've earned 20-25k/month salaries. Eh sa pag-MLM nila hirap silang mabawi yung starter kit nila, tapos wala na silang friends and dignidad.

You could say that starting a business is just as risky, but a business is something you can be proud of, something that doesn't require selling false hope of fortune.

yeah many MLMers have a hard time earning back the joining fee

many people don't care about dignity

pera pera lang eh

kahit ano paraan basta magkapera

kaya sa society natin madami shady characters

people who have assets pero di mo alam saan galing ang pambili

wala naman trabaho, wala naman visible business

people think in order to join the "club" all you need is money

but once you're there you realize you don't really fit in

everybody knows what everybody else does for a living

they can smell shady a mile away

they can tell you have no values

so what do you do?

you go hang with other shady people nalang

Facebook is a time-killer to relax and unwind and get your mind off work. I pity the person that sees Facebook as a networking exercise.

Tawag dun kwentuhan, you do it for casual conversation and not to sell overpriced shady products.

Ayaw mong mag INVITE pero humahatak ka ng kasama sa pupuntahan mong event..CONCERTS, FASHION SHOW, GIMMICK.

You invite friends to concerts and gimiks to enjoy their company and have a good time, not to recruit them to MLM.

Ayaw mong mag BENTA pero nasa call center ka para mang alok ng credit card..

Most people aren't against selling. They're against selling stupid products that are really just a front for networking and extorting money for the false hope that their recruit will gain financial freedom.

Ayaw mong mag take ng RISK pero mag AABROAD ka..

A legit job abroad has a contract that assures that you'll get paid a fare wage in exchange for the service you will render. Definitely less risky compared to relying on a constant stream of recruits.

Ayaw mong mahirapan pero 8 hours a day kang nagtatrabaho.

Ang ayaw mahirapan, tamad. Whether MLM, corporate, or business, ang tamad walang nararating.

Ayaw mo.. Kasi Ayaw mong umasenso.. �

Most people want to succeed, and they do this by doing their best at their job/business, saving and investing to increase their wealth and provide for their families. Some have better opportunities than others, but they run their own race without having to join shady quick-rich schemes with an unsustainable business model.

I have friends who are in the MLM business who kept inviting me to join them. Naawa ako so sabi ko bibilhin ko na lang un products nyo hwag nyo lang ako gawing recruit. Inisip ko na lang na mas mabuti na to may produkto kaysa manghiram ng pera at hindi na bbayaran. Sa 2nd invitation I politely declined na.

Napasubo ako sa MLM for around 6 months back in 2007. (meaning, I gave up after 6 months)
Nakatulong din in some ways --- Hindi ko kasi kasundo yung barkada ng misis ko. Pero as a fledgling MLM, I was forced to try to build a recruit list. Kasama yung barkada ng misis ko sa recruit list na yon. Nung ni-try ko sila i-recruit, they politely accepted, pero as expected, nang-indian sa appointment. From that point onward, iniiwasan na ako nung kabarkada ng misis ko.
I also "tried" to recruit those friends and acquaintances that I were hiding from. Siempre ayaw din nila.
A couple of months later, I quit.
Pero to this day, medyo nang-iiwas pa rin sila sa akin. Pati na rin yung mga pinagtataguan kong acquaintances na sinubukan kong i-recruit, iniiwasan na rin ako.
(yon nga lang, medyo mahal yung naging investment ko para ma achieve yung blissfulness of having some people you don't like that much avoid you....)
