Happee Toothpaste initially thought that Colgate leaving SM was going to benefit them. It backfired as Colgate increased its marketing and hit Happee at its market which was at the smaller stores.
I'm sure SM will get into a big tangle with the Greenhills subdivisions if they draw up plans to fully utilize that Greenhills complex.

the philippine market is still a small pond and SM is just a big fish but still in a small pond
P&G swims in a much bigger pond and they definitely dont need SM

Again, Calgate-Palmolive yung nag pull out of SM.
Ang masama nito, lahat ng groceries and supermarkets ginagawa na ang style ni SM. Listing fee, display allowance, anniversary support, christmas support, opening support, sale promo, and recently, may customer kaming humingi ng wedding support! Kawawa mga small time suppliers.Signature

Quota support, yun SM bonus bigay din ng mga suppliers pag naka quota SM sa product nila, walanghiya eh walang manufacturing Ang SM tapos lahat ng product Meron SM bonus, pag bumili ka ng Isang SM bonus product next month Wala ng stocks..
