The dark has a good taste on it but I was expecting more richness on it. Stouts have that distinctive creaminess and full body on it.

There's a YouTube video of a shopper here and it really explains some of the reasons why it's cheaper, except maybe for the German chocolates and beer which they can maybe bring down the price, the video of the peanut butter and the corned beef shows that their quality is not at par with Nutella and Purefoods or Delimonyo brand.

Yep, the Brunonia Lager is the safe choice. For 36 pesos per can, no complaints there.
I am not a fan of Red Horse. It has some kick but still not as strong as the Belgian strong beers (ABV of 10% or more). One thing lacking in Red Horse is the flavor and richness. I prefer my strong beer to be full bodied with hints of various flavors into it. If you want to get drunk, get yourself gin or vodka or rum or whisky or tequila and hose it down with beer! Hahaha
I guess Guinness Foreign Extra Stout is one strong beer with good flavor that is easily accessible. Engkanto Double IPA is a good choice among the local craft beers. If you can spare a bit more, then opt for the Belgian Trappist beers with high ABV - Chimay, Rochefort, Tripel, Gulden Draak, Duvel, Delirium, etc. There are also a bunch of strong IPAs from the more popular US craft brewers - Stone, Sierra Nevada, Elysian, etc.
