This looks like a really good deal nga, especially if they waive annual fees. Should've gone for this rather than the BPI Visa Signature.
Great point on the BDO card. Every time there's a 3 day sale in SM, they get an additional 10% off. I used my mom's BDO card when I bought luggage and home appliances before to avail of the 10% discount. Come to think of it, that alone is bigger than most of the rebates you get from other banks for a year.
If you buy 50k worth of stuff in one 3-day sale in SM, that's the equivalent of getting a 1% rebate for 500k worth of annual spending.

I still have bdo's gold master and visa that's annual fee free for life.
Others are citibank and HSBC.
Never na ako nag change nor planning to replace them.

I usually request for waiving of the annual fee na lagi naman approve. BDO also sent me an AMEX card na ni-deadma ko na lang kasi basic lang naman needs ko for credit cards (i.e. ndi ako lumalabas ng bansa).
I am a supppemntal card holder of citibank also. Pag gusto ko si misis magbayad, yung gingamit ko hehehe

How does the points for Mabuhay miles system work? We just purchased a round-trip ticket to the US using BPI gold MasterCard.

35 pesos per BPI Rewards Point. 5 Rewards Points per Mabuhay Miles. So net, 175 pesos per Mabuhay Mile.
Manila to LA is 32,000 miles, one-way. So you've spent around P11M to earn the free round trip, unless you have miles multipliers from BPI promos.
