Waw! 5 incher 'pa yug floppy disk na hawak nya. Brings back a lot of memories.
I remember that there were different kinds: double-sided, double-density, single-sided, single-density. Ano kaya kung yung mga computers sa kotse, ganyan ang data storage? Format ka siguro ng format kapag tinoyo.

Buti na lang mga kotse natin hindi pinapatakbo ng microsoft, kundi reboot tayo ng reboot kahit nasa kasarapan tayo ng pagpapatakbo, hehehe.

Alala nyo mga days na nagkokopyahan ng games sa greenhills, lintek 2 box na verbatim o dysan (kung sosy ka) ang papakopya mo, pati manual papaphotocopy mo dahil andun yun password! heheheh

Bago Windows, IBM-DOS muna. If I remember it correctly (shucks! 'Tanda ko na...), IBM's DOS came on one to two diskettes. IBM and Bill Gates had irreconcilable differences, so Gates and crew got out of the IBM deal and improved the DOS of IBM. They renamed it MS-DOS. The first workable Windows I think came in ten 1.44" diskettes.

suki namin dati ung nasa top floor ng virramall, forgot the whole name..electro something (electroventure?) hehe grabe kopyahan ng disks, pati manual na 100+ pages xerox hahaha
