Did everyone check their bdo account after the news came out? I use the BDO app the other day and it mandates you to change password.

    mandates, as in requires?
    baka naman, "recommendation" lang...
so what happens if you do not change your password?

some of these password-requiring facilities probably think, incorrectly, that theirs is the only facility in the account holder's life, that requires a password.
haven't they considered the possibility that each person probably has to memorize four to six passwords at any given time?
even old passwords have a way of lingering in one's mind, muddling up the memory banks...
    heh heh.

On point doc that's why I hate changing password not unless there's really a security breach or someone is trying to get access to your account.

from what i understand happened in bdo,
the divulgement of password wasn't required, if what the victims allege is true.

can anyone here explain how it happened?

maybe coz BDO's system is old hackers were able to see username and passwords

now that they fixed it, depositors need to create new password
