What is your car's horn?

I'm a stickler for stock dual-tone horns.

Stating the obvious, car horns are a communications tool and just as we use our voice to convey information, altering it and making it sound artificially larger/louder than it has to is just someone who wants to feel important and is probably over-compensating and egotistic.

Not to mention being on the receiving end of those dBs as pedestrians or jeepney passengers.

If I wanted to be different (and that's a big IF), I'd choose something that is self-deprecating.... realistic farting sounds that isn't too loud nor startling, can put a smile on anyone's face.

Now that you mentioned it i rarely use the horn and when I do it's a short beep, I'm really annoyed when I hear a loud horn, it's like shouting at someone and also when people use it instead of the brake. The most unused part of my car is the horn. We don't even use it to call companions to hurry up, we simply go out of the car and call the persons. Lalo na sa subdivision, drivers are supposed to slow down and just make a quick beep to alert people not blast their horn while they are fast approaching. Sorry, I didn't read the posts before OJ's so baka may natamaan ako. It's not my intention, I'm just speaking my mind in reaction to OJ's post.

just this lunchtime,
we were driving in this exclusive subdivision,
when this big family van parked at the side of the road, suddenly without warning (no horn, no signal light, no break light), decided to move and swerve onto my lane, just 1 - 2 meters from my front bumper.
i put on my breaks, and put on my busina. how i wish at that time, that my horn were loud enough as to brake his side mirror glass...
... hijo, gamitin mo naman ang side mirror or signal light mo...
in retrospect, his window tint was so heavy... any choice of four- or five-letter words, would just have bounced back...

Careful what you wish for. The same frequency (and dBs) which can shatter the van's windows can shatter yours as well.

Yeah, it happens, brake sabay business dahil sa finish but then how many times have we seen scenarios in crossings or the like where someone would blast their horn without tapping their brakes, pano kung di naka react ung binubusinahan at nasagasaan? Siguro pag nasa kulungan na sya saka nya maiisip na sana nag brake na lang sya

Namamaos na yung 8 year old stock horn ng Mobilio ko. Ano ba mga magandang trusted brands ngayon? What I see most of the time being sold is either Bosch or PIAA.
