For me the ones with dedicated screens are better than those with an android app. Because you need to open the app when you want to see your tire pressure. Unlike the latter you just glance on the screen.

February 26th, 2019 06:25 AM #175Mga bro, I have a Zeepin TPMS (external) installed and the recommended tire pressure for my Innova 2008 model is 33 psi. Read in another thread here in tsikot that 35 psi all around is the sweet spot so I am having that on all of my tires. I set 40psi as the highest psi on TPMS. Now just yesterday, I drove the vehicle somewhere in the south of Cebu about 50km from the city and with the hot weather yesterday, the psi reached 40 so the alarm or beeps sounded. My question is how much pressure would increase due to hot weather? My lowest setting of the TMPS is 27 and the highest is 40, is this setting correct for a 35psi normal setting?

A 5 psi increase is still normal considering you drove 50 kms and summer is coming. Age of the tires also play a factor.
For me, 15 km drive from Pasig to Makati i have a constant 2 psi increase.

February 26th, 2019 11:50 AM #18035psi in our Innova is too stiff for my liking. I only inflate to that level when I know the vehicle will be loaded with people.
I usually inflate 32 front, 33 rear using the traditional dial-type pressure gauge. The TPMS reads those as 33 and 34/35-ish respectively.
