follow up question lang - if you have a map and went "off road" can you edit it to remember the way you passed?

As it is, pwede mo pa naman gamitin yung ibang GPS functions tulad ng positioning. At bago mo nga pala magamit yung GPS receiver, maghihintay ka muna ng mahigit 1 minute out in the open, para mag-lock sa sat signals yung GPS receiver ng N95. Mabagal kasi hindi pa sensitive.

Free Philippine Map for Garmin GPS receivers
this is a map made by philippine gps enthusiasts. you can also contribute your waypoints and tracks in waypoint.ph
workable na. almost complete na yung mga streets for manila and some major cities.
    plenty of duplicates though.

Guys, newbie question po. What gadget/s do I need to buy in case I want a GPS navigation system in my car? Do you have an idea how much would that cost me? My ride has a provision for a 2din HU upgrade. Im based here in the Philippines. Thanks!

For the currently avaialble maps, all you need is a Garmin GPS (www.garmin.com). Tons of options available but the one designed for in-car navigation is the Nuvi series.

Unfortunately, Garmin doesn't make DIN HU units.
