Huwat, no projector lens? Mortal sin. Hehe. Gary, question: for fog light throw (HID projector), how many inches should it be lower than the normal head light cut off? OK lang rin ba kung kapantay lang ng head lights? Thanks.

To rephrase my question: How many inches should the fog light cutoff be from the head light cutoff and at which specific distance from the wall? Thanks.

EDIT: I know that head light/fog light aiming is a complicated issue (lamp axis height, etc.) and I'm probably oversimplifying it. But I was hoping you could give me a rough and general idea. Failing that, I just might go back to you for a fog light retrofit. Haha.

OK, here's a more intelligent question: How many inches below the fog light axis/center should the cutoff be at 25 feet? 2 inches? 2.5 inches? 3 inches? What do you normally use? Thanks.

same way you adjust the HL. 25ft away on flat surface, measure from ground to middle ng fogs, project to the wall and this is your cutoff height. But with your stock fogs you can only approximate this.

Thanks, Gary. So no need to measure 1.5"-4" below the center of the fog light? Anyway, napapagod na 'ko mag-DIY. I managed to convert the projector from my stock head lights, after your retrofit, by sealing the holes. I have a nice cutoff (and the projector is big, maybe about 2.5") but the projector is not stable. I have a feeling pag nalubak ako uurong siya. Haha.

Gary, 'yung fog light retrofit mo ba kasing-sharp ang cutoff ng sa head lights? At gaano katagal gawin? May stages din ba 'to (1-3) o isa lang? Kasing-liwanag ba ng H1 mo 'yung D2S Stage 3 ng head lights ko at same color? Thanks.

yung 70mm yes, very sharp but more important, kasing intense and wide yung output. isang package lang. 4300k din
