let me share my experience with Utility Assurance Corporation.
sa kanila ako nagmili ng Policy CTPL for 3 years since bnew.

then upon receiving the policy ang date lang eh 2 years lang ang explanation nila is
Feb 18 - December 2011 - 1 year daw
January - December 2012 - 1 year ulit
then January - February 2013 1 year daw ulit..

so lumalabas 2 years lang Feb 2011-Feb 2013

Never again ako kukuha dito.. plus the comprehensive na insurance.. sobrang taas premium and deductibles

hmmm medyo mataas pa din ang premium nyang tatlo na yan.. ask ka pa sa iba.. tsaka yung participation mataas din.

sa 685T sum insured, dapat nasa 14T to 15T na lang ang premium (w/ AOG), tapos ang participation .5% nang sum insured so dapat 3T+ lang..

to give you an idea.. yung insurance ko sa Standard.. 520T sum insured, 520T AOG, 520T Strike Riot, 500T Bodily Injury, 500T Property Damage, total premium Php12,700.00, participation Php2,600.00.

since honda city yan, did you check with the Honda dealer kung sila ang nag issue ng CTPL for 3 yrs? as I remember, early part of 2011, my cousin was given FREE 3 YRS LTO / 3 YRS CTPL for his Honda City 1.3S automatic. that is why you must check with the DEALER whom you had purchase your HONDA unit.

i suggest you call up your dealer and check with them.
