pareho kayo ng observation ng misis ko na mahina ang acceleration power ng unioil for the 4d56 engine, had almost filled up 100 liters of it when she used the car and her comment nga is parang humina ang hatak, minsan minsan nya lang ginagamit ang car so i believed na when I switched from shell to unioil ay di ko napansin ung slight changes sa loss of power unlike her na once in a while nya lang ginagamit and she noticed agad yung changes. Will just consume the unioil from the fuel tank and will try again regular shell diesel fuel and will observe kung babalik ung dating hatak ng engine.... In contrary naman sa reviews ng mga taga MSCP, mas naging ok daw ang performance ng montero nila when day used unioil's euro 4 diesel........

Try refilling it back to your regular diesel then don't tell your wife about it.

AFAIK, sulfur acts as lubricant for the IP... so kung low sulfur, low lubrication... mahina takbo..
try adding 2T oil to compensate for sulfur

thank you sir for that info.... actually, one of the reasons why I shifted from regular shell diesel fuel into unioil's euro4 diesel is it's low sulfur content, not only it helps our environment but also my perception that it does not degrade my engine oil. I am a Royal Purple engine oil user, classified as CJ-4, AFAIK, oil which is classified as CJ-4 can easily degrade its lubrication properties by diesel fuel with high sulfur content.... Correct me if I am wrong sir Arvin...

AFAIK, parehas lang level ng sulfur sa Petron DMax at VPower Diesel, or sa Shell Diesel Fuel save at Nitro DIesel. Difference lang ay meron additives dinadgadag kaya mas mahal. Sa cleanliness, parehas lang. Pero since bago naman Monty mo, might as well fill it up with the premium diesel of Petron/Shell. If i cant gas up with Unioil, sa shell Nitro diesel ako. Once ko lang na try Caltex diesel, maingay at rough ang takbo ng engine.

tnx sir yourman_2nd..maybe i'll stick muna sa Petron Dmax...How about Petron Turbo Disel. is there any advantage compare to other diesel oils?

I hope dumami din ang refilling stations ng Unioil and magkaroon din sa Las Pinas. Kailan kaya mag-open ang nasa Osmena Highway near Arnaiz/Pasay Road Makati?
