Ultra low sulfur diesel/euro 4 has less energy content than euro 2 diesel, but it is a "cleaner fuel.

try adding 2T oil to compensate for sulfur

thank you sir for that info.... actually, one of the reasons why I shifted from regular shell diesel fuel into unioil's euro4 diesel is it's low sulfur content, not only it helps our environment but also my perception that it does not degrade my engine oil. I am a Royal Purple engine oil user, classified as CJ-4, AFAIK, oil which is classified as CJ-4 can easily degrade its lubrication properties by diesel fuel with high sulfur content.... Correct me if I am wrong sir Arvin...
