February 26th, 2013 12:58 PM #91After trying out Unioil Diesel for the Revo, I don't see any significant improvements in terms of fuel efficiency as compared to the Caltex Diesel that I regularly use, though there is lesser vibration and engine noise. But then it is worth noting that Caltex Diesel is one of the best fuel the Revo responds to, slightly better than even Shell V-Power diesel, much better than Shell regular diesel, and very significantly better than Seaoil diesel, or at least such is my observation.

you don't need euro 4 diesel naman sa ride mo dahil hindi naman yan crdi/d4d/common rail. saka although may biodiesel ang unioil diesel to replace the lubricity lost from the sulfur it may not be enough to lubricate the injection pump of an old school diesel like your revo's engine. kaya nga there is a thread na "people who add 2t to their diesel" kasi ang diesel-biodiesel mix e kulang ang lubrication para sa mga old school diesel engines.

March 8th, 2013 03:47 PM #94Is there anybody here who are using EURO IV from UNIOIL, who went back to either SHELL/PETRON/CALTEX diesel who did not experienced any problem at all? Reason for asking is because I am planning a trip to NORTHERN PART OF LUZON but unfortunately the farthest UNIOIL STATION there is in PAMPANGA, baka kasi magka problem ako pag biglang mag shift from UNIOIL to either one of the BIG 3. BTW, I've been using UNIOIL for the last 3 months already on my FORD RANGER T6. Hope to hear some comments regarding this. TIA.

March 8th, 2013 04:08 PM #95Also a Unoil user ever since Unioil shifted to Euro IV diesel and even before that. What I noticed though when i was forced to use the big 3 fuel was the very obvious black smoke especially during acceleration. Power-wise, however, I did'nt notice anything. This happened to me when I went to Pagudpud and was forced to gas-up using petron regular diesel. Did not empty the tank in one swoop, however. I slowly introduce petron regular diesel after my tank was half full and thereafter although at the end of the trip my tank was all petron regular dieseI. Btw, I was driving a montero at the time.

March 8th, 2013 04:23 PM #97Kung EURO IV diesel pa rin meron ang Eastern Petroleum in Pangasinan, Ifugao, Benguet Isabela, Nueva Ecija just look at their website kung meron sila on your route. But I understand your concern, the Big 3 though has refill stations in most of the towns. In my Trailblazer, The casa had it filled with Shell Nitro Diesel, then my first full tank it was Petron ordinary diesel, then I filled it up with Petron Turbo Diesel and now with Unioil EURO IV diesel wala namang problema. I have not tried the reverse going back to the EURO II of the Big 3. Ang kalaban talaga ng diesel engine is water in the fuel.

March 8th, 2013 07:03 PM #99Pickup naman sir di ba rig mo? If you have room to spare at the back and don't mind to carry additional weight at added cost, pwede ka sir bumili ng fuel container mga nasa 20L din ata capacity nun, sa mga ACE hardware meron.
Just like NAML, excessive black smoke nangyari sa kin even at cruising speed nun maglight up fuel warning light ko sa NLEX while using Unioil and has to fuel up at Petron. Mga 5L lng pinalagay ko nun, pagdating sa quezon ave Unioil, full tank agad, nawala excessive black smoke

March 8th, 2013 07:23 PM #100I've been thinking about that too, unfortunately wala pa kasi akong tonneau cover para masecure ko yung fuel tank container
. And I am not sure kung kakayanin ko pang magpalagay before the trip, biglaan kasi.
Since you've mentioned na meron pala sa ACE hardware nung fuel container, I would still try to check that one out. And hopefully I would still find some time para mapalagyan ko ng hard tonneau cover yung truck bed.
