If ethanol evaporates faster than gasoline, is it ok (advisable) to use it on a car that is only used during weekends? and usually around the metro lang dina-drive. Or less expensive pa rin to use the regular unleaded, like yung sa Shell? :tumbleweed:
pasensha na po clueless talaga ako what to use, what to stay away from.. first time car owner lang po ('09 1.6 gls)

same question here, hmm I tried extreme 97 this morning, but for around 300 bucks lang din muna. I am not using it on a daily basis. Try ko lang. I've been using V power before,eh sobra mahal na.
My car is a 96 honda civic lxi.. Is it safe to use extreme 97 for my car?

i think minimum requirement ng car mo is 93RON. ordinary unleaded or unleaded E10 is ok. Any will do - suggest mag E10 ka na rin. Kasi years from now all gasoline will be E10 na, kasi it is mandated by law. Kaya better masanay na earlier ang car mo. Here are my suggested or preferred 93RON gasoline brands:
1. Caltex 93RON - esp if you have HSBC card
2. Petron Xtra 93+RON
3. JETTI 93RON - kasi mura rin
4. PTT 93+RON - kasi straight 93RON sila walang halong additive
I do not use 95RON~97RON kasi, so i cannot recommend any except SEAOIL 97RON, kasi ito pinakamura. Petron and Shell brands are almost P45 or higher, kasi alam nila those who use 97RON are those with expensive cars who do not mind the high price.
hope this helps!

i guess efi ang car mo. if it is, then E10 is ok. but honda cars can run at 93RON gasoline. Kaya mag ordinary unleaded ka nalang. Go for cheaper brands like the ones posted. Don't forget to ask for an official receipt para sure ka hindi smuggler or manloloko ang dealer.

yeah, that's what i thought din. pang city driving lang naman. praning lang tong nanay ko,gusto lagi V power kasi ever since, V power na gamit nun.. Well from what I found out, hindi na issue ung V power or not. E10 compatibility na ang issue.
Pero mganda yung extreme 97. Malinis pa ang buga..
Anyway thanks for the input dgworld. Im a newbie here

Yup, all gasolines have now e10, even the premium ones, it's in the law. I think the companies like SeaOil, they're improving extreme 97 to bring the best performance in cars so kahit e10 sya ok pa rin. Btw, e10 are good boosters. And I agree with the previous poster, e10 burns clean.

e10 burns cleaner but i get 1 less kilometer/liter than regular gasoline, so mas mahal na per kilometer. dati 7kms/l now 5.8- na lang tapos ang trapik pa lagi ngayon.
