August 23rd, 2015 11:07 PM #1184[QUOTE=dr. d;2592495]all of them are AT?
somehow... those figures don't seem to be something honda should be proud of...
how's the traffic situation on the routes you traverse? ... seems heavy..

Yes, all of them are AT, except for the subaru, traffic here in bicutan is mostly bumper to bumper stop and go, its not unusual to be stuck in traffic for a hour or more on a 2km stretch...house to office is less than 2km, on a good day, 15-20mims is considered light traffic already. To be fair with honda, FE is compromised coz we do many errands, if there is no parking, i stay put while the engine is idle.

Short trips really kill your FC. The distance of our house to my office is less than 5 km, and most of it is bumper to bumper C5 traffic (which is at a crawl from 5pm-10pm). If it's just office to home on a rush hour, my FC is just around 6.5-7 km/L. It's balanced by lighter weekend traffic so my usual city FC is 8-8.5 km/L.

I used to take a lot of short trips (500 metres +/-) I had no idea that it was really bad for the FC and battery
I've been monitoring the FC of my Altis since I got it last year. My average FC is 9.49 but I don't take much shorts trips anymore.

^That's really good FC for city driving. You must have a light foot. [emoji106]

On my observation, my 2010 Montero Sport GLS A/T gets the same FC as my 2014 CRV 2.0 AT based on the same traffic conditions. If my Monty gets 8kms/liter at around 20kph average traffic speed, it is about almost the same as my CRV. Laking kamurahan nga lang ng diesel ngayon

August 25th, 2015 07:31 AM #1190My '05 K20 CRV MT consumes around 7-9km/l in medium traffic and 6km/l in heavy. 13-14km/l expressways. 10km/l average going up Baguio (I do shift before the redline tho
)
Our '10 Accord VCM is around 7-8km/l in medium. in heavy. 5-6 km/l lol. 11-13 in expressways then 9 average going up Baguio. GGWP
Our K24 '12 CRV AT 7-9 in medium. 6-7 in heavy. 12-14 in expressways. still 11km/l going up Baguio
My '15 Altis CVT in medium is around 8-9 then 6.5-8 in heavy(Bumper to bumper C5). 18-20km/l expressways 100 constant (Promise) 12-14km/l going up Baguio (Matulin kasi ako palagi) (Still in break in period)
My friend's K20 Civic FD AT consumes around 5km/l in heavy traffic. Lol sad
Lahat ng paakyat ng Baguio is humatahataw ako. So.. dont be like me
