At the monent, this is huge. All Universities should grab this opportunity.
Toyota opens up 24, hybrid technology patents, offers royalty-free access for everyone till 23
On a side note. hybrid toyotas in the US only commands 1000ish US dollars over their non hybrid counterparts. Thats how far Toyota is ahead of the competition.
on a bigger side note, this huge gesture will hurt oil refineries that sell fuel.

July 21st, 2019 11:36 AM #6so paano maging presyo ng electric vehicle dito pinas?
lets say nissan leaf paano maging pricing.
sa nissanusa website = 29,990$, pero pwede bumagsak ng 22,490 after potential federal tax credit. Not bad for 1.150 milyones.

Who among tsikoteers has a hybrid? Can anyone here make an honest assessment about these cars? I saw the Ioniq yesterday & claimed FC is 24 km/lit combined & priced at around P1.5m.

At current prices, it will take a really long time and lots of mileage to recoup the price difference vs non-hybrid or non-ev counterpart ... there needs to be more incentives ...
