Good lord, now the Inquirer trumpets yet another seemingly dubious miracle device?
it's really becoming alarming how sources that are generally viewed as credible by many people openly endorse, without any verifiable instrumented testing, tin-can contraptions that miraculously bend the laws of chemistry and physics. are these sources in the payroll of these dubious manufacturers? jeez, how many people have to be suckered by these misleading claims of "EPA and CARB certification" and other bullcrap?
inevitably, some will accuse in this forum of my (and others') jumping to conclusions and of unfairly generalizing this whole class of device, but please, this must be some miracle catalyst to be able to promote hydrocarbon chain-breaking and isomerization and other associated processes in the standard temperature and pressure of a fuel tank.
all this, from such a reputable journal as the Inquirer, to boot. tsk tsk.

They've already laughed that out of the US... I'm surprised that it's still being marketed here. First heard of that here months ago!
I'm surprised and disappointed. Besides the Inquirer, one of the upscale "Gadget" mags also features it... and I thought the guys who ran those were tech savvy...

How does fuel go bad in your gas tank? (especially if you typically fill up every one to two weeks)

Hey, the Fitch is CARB legal!
Since it doesn't do anything, it doesn't cause pollution!
Bwisit nga ang mga writers na ito... I think we should have a consumer protection bureau, or something like it... we need a Ralph Nader!

FUEL CATALYST
More horsepower and torque.
Just drop in the the tank. The Fitch fuel catalyst will transform the fuel in your machine so that it will burn cleaner and more efficiently.
HOW IT WORKS
All fuel possess elements that cause ignition problems. Some of these elements burn too fast causing pre-ignition and some burn too slowly causing delayed ignition, excessive smoke and carbon buildup. It is these troublemakers on which the Fitch Fuel Catalyst works. The catalyst alloy further refines the fuel to reduce these elements resulting in improved combustion, fuel savings, reduced emissions and increased power.
MORE HORSEPOWER, MORE TORQUE
Feel the power and make the climb with improved horsepower and torque with one installation of the Fitch Fuel Catalyst. Use of this product typically adds 3-5 hp and ft. lbs of torque. It's not a fuel additive! It's new technology that improves every tank of gas permanently..
KEEPS FUEL FRESH, EASIER STARTING
No longer will you deal with the hard-starting machine. The Fitch Fuel Catalyst means you never have to buy another fuel stabilizer or octane booster again! This technology is always working to keep your fuel fresh, even in the off season.
