On the other hand, the Ecosport Trend is only 885k and already has all the basic things a first-time car buyer needs, except generous space. However, since you only have one daughter, it shouldn't be much of an issue. You can get one for roughly 180k DP and 15k/month amortization.

Eco sport vs the asx sa space and storage?

Asx is almost 1m lang dahil sa 100k discount.

ASX, definitely. The ASX is wider, which is good for bigger guys like you. Space in the back is still quite small compared to sedans like the Altis and Civic, but bigger than the Ecosport.

Avanza g a/t is 930k din kasi. The E model naman walang ABS po

The only reason naman kasi i chose/considering asx is

Price, after discount its only a little over 1m.
For a subcompact suv, mura na siya, with abs
Hindi mahaba so I dont think first time driver like me ay mahihirapan
And looks, medyo suv-ish na talaga tignan

Other models like the tucson kasi mahal na and mataas daw maintenance

Being rear wheel drive has nothing to do with "lakas sa akyatan". The Avanza is certainly no match compared to a 2.0 ASX or an Innova.

The points on ground clearance and tight turning radius are true, but the Ecosport also has those traits.

Well if you like the ASX, then go for it. [emoji1303]

Always buy something that will maximize your happiness. No use settling for a different car even if it's cheaper or more practical if you're not happy with it.

As you very well have noticed, my car knowledge is next to 0. Kung computers lang yan, networking or programming palag palag pa eh hahaha.

Sa ngayon medyo kinakabahan pako kasi no matter sino tanungin ko, pag hindi toyota, lagi sabi "mahal maintenance niyan"

The only downside of the ASX is that it's not fuel efficient. We have one in the family and it's a pretty decent car. Maintenance is higher than, say, a Vios, but it's just the same as with all other CUVs.
