Depends sa needs at lifestyle.
For purely city driving and occasional out of town trips- Sta Fe or Sorrento.
For city driving coupled with out of town with off roading - MS or Fortuner and even Everest are the better choices.
From my experience, I was torn between the Sta Fe and MS. But because me and my family are doing a lot of island hopping adventures, I picked the MS. Dont expect Sta Fe can take you to Sagada and for it to come back with the same state as you leave. My brother found it the hard way.

The labels SUV, AUV are confusing to me. Who knows what those labels mean today anymore. Naooffend pa yata ang natatawag na AUV. Why not classify them as either ladder frame or unibody (monocoque)?
Santa Fe for me. You can't argue with something that has the latest in diesel engine technology.

AUV. Hahaha. You're kidding me. :hysterical: You're comparing the Adventures to the Santa Fe ? Come on, boy.
It doesn't mean that SUV's are built for super off-roading. For sure, if you off-road your fortuner without slapping some mods on, eh masisira din yan.
Ang santa fe, SUV na may comfort. ;) Kumbaga in between the middle siya.

santa fe is a crossover, designed for city driving with paved roads... with moderate off road capabilities ( if you get the 4x4). kung most of the time sa paved road ka naman the best ang santa fe

sa 365 days a year, ilan beses ka ba pupunta ng Sagada o Baguio o Cordillera o Mayon, baka five times a year sobra sobra na.
so the other remaining 360 days, tiis sa tagtag hahah.
i learned it the hard way also, my first brand new car was a 4x4 pickup strada 2nd gen. grabeh ang tagtag, parang araw-araw pinaparusahan ako ng diyos sa dala-dalang kong pasan sa krus.
pakiramdam ko may dala akong tangke araw-araw. those years I became so inefficent in traffic na minsan tamad na ako gumala
kaya nga natatawa na lang ako sa mga naka-patrol ngaun na nakikipag siksikan sa' tin sa greenhills/eastwood/ shang malls etc. sobrang stressed out siguro mga yun for a measily 10km bumper to bumper drive

kung sa adidas and nike shoes ang gym wear, nga ang mas mamahal yun magagaan eh. bakit ka na magsusuot ng combat fatigue sa sports event hahah. kaya nga sports ehLast edited by jimnyeatworld; November 11th, 2010 at 10:05 PM.
