June 9th, 2013 10:14 PM #13The D-Max is one of the toughest, most fuel efficient trucks in its class. Its wide powerband makes it ideal for heavy duty hauling. But then the ride is rather jittery, and rear seat space is pretty limited. I would suggest this more for provincial/farm use.

June 9th, 2013 10:18 PM #14Yes Sir, nagagandahan talaga ako sa Ranger ngayon compare before, also to Colorado, astig na astig talaga Sir, kaya lang Sir hindi ko naman mamamaximize yun truck eh kasi di naman ako nag-ooff road and wala naman akong ikakarga na mabibigat kaya baka maging useless lang sa'kin yun laki ng truck.

For city use - Strada. Best driving position and comfy ride.
Too bad the GLX at 975k is pretty crappy - slow, non-VGT engine, skinny tires, plain exterior.
That said, Ranger XLT pa rin ako. 2.2 engine isn't all that great, but it's not bad either. Not a big fan of the driving position, especially when compared to the Strada, but you'll get used to it. Best interior and exterior in its class, if you ask me. Lots of features too and you won't feel that this is a "midrange" pickup.
But if it's too large for you, then you're really left with the Strada.

Without the new D-max to consider (yet), I will get the new Ranger. Don't worry about its size. Mas ok nga pag mas malaki pa. Advantage ka sa siksikan. Advantage ka sa usual baha sa Pinas. Saka considering ang road condition sa Pinas, pickup truck is an advantage. Just for me.
Si misis kahit sa palengke lang sya. Mas gusto nya magdala ng pickup kasi daw iiwasan sya ng mga tricycles at dyips.

Nakapag-lipat bahay ako, APV lang gamit ko. How often will you be carrying around furniture?
Kung hindi naman madalas, you might want to ask yourself if it's worth the tradeoff of less comfort, hefty size, and compromised passenger space. Marami kasi bumibili ng kotse planning those once-in-a-blue-moon activities pero 99.9% of the time pang daily commute lang.
