September 30th, 2019 11:42 AM #11Inisip ko rin yan. Malaki lang premium over the bagsak resale ng big suv, especially ford. I'm buying used, and it seems an expedition is coming out way cheaper than most other units. Baka offset din fc sa discount that I get. May kausap ako now, 2009 EL for around 700k that looks like a good deal.

September 30th, 2019 12:06 PM #13I saw for sale on FB Marketplace, several circa 2012 Odysseys selling for around 800k. 2014-2015 Carnivals also for the same price.
We have a 2010 Carnival. Not as quick off the line, but very good highway legs. 100 at 1700rpm, approx a little over 10km/L highway.

September 30th, 2019 03:05 PM #15Wow, di ba usually yung wife pa ang mas gusto sa minivan, at yung husband sa SUV? [emoji23]
But anyway, I suppose it would boil down to how many passengers will it be carrying? If 5 or less at self driven kadalasan, pwede na Explorer. If more than 5 at madalas may driver, dun na ako sa Expedition. Since out of town vehicle to, sufficient cargo space for large boxes and suitcases must be given priority.

September 30th, 2019 03:10 PM #16Iba talaga sir. Always liked big cars. LC200 sana kaso di kaya ng budget. Although mukhang yun expedition is a bit too much for her to drive daw.
Malamang 2 lang sir. Kung sakali family trip, baka 5 with driver. Was leaning on expedition but might be too impractical nga.

September 30th, 2019 04:05 PM #19Yun CX parang maliit.
Yes, seriously considering the Pilot too. Learned how to drive with a Honda tsaka of all the 3 units i have owned from that brand, matibay talaga lahat. Biggest concern siguro, mukhang kaunti lang nabenta dito so I'm not that sure about parts availability.

September 30th, 2019 04:29 PM #20If I remember correctly, the CX9 is actually over 5 meters long, similar to the Pilot's dimensions. Advantage would indeed be parts availability since the Pilot sold poorly here.
I suppose the Explorer is kinda dicey since it is the first batch of an entirely new generation, while the Expedition in question is the last of the old Tritons.
Everest, ayaw? [emoji16]
