not a downgrade in my opinion. only downside is the fuel cost even if its only 18km round trip.. that is 4-7liters per day.

Knock down the wall and expand papasok? Hehe~ Around 1m extension should suffice. This would be a more permanent solution for your need of a larger vehicle.

Would just like to point out that the kids sitting on the 3rd row won't be kids forever. And children seem to be getting taller and taller nowadays. I'm 5"10. That used to be considered tall. But it just seems average nowadays when standing beside high school kids. [emoji28] Have you tried sitting on the 3rd row? Kamusta naman?

I drive a Santa Fe. Midsize 7 seater SUV. I can fit in the 3rd row properly without having to stoop and with space still from my knees to the 2nd row seatback. Problem is there is almost no cargo space left with the 3rd row up so I end up driving the Granvia or Carnival if I need to seat more than 5, even if its just to the mall. Rather, especially if its to the mall. [emoji23]

Yung gasoline nga din ang problem. Officemate ko 15kms ang distance from their home to our office back and forth, 5k per month daw ang gas nya. Ako 26kms from our home to office (previous office) e 4k per month lang ang gastos sa krudo..same traffic situation kami na bumper to bumper lagi.

As for the 3rd row, kids lang naman ang uupo most of the time so not an issue for me.

Kung 1thou lang natipid mo sa desel eh sa gaso na ako. Doon na ako sa tahimik at swabe andar kahit mas mahal ng konti consumo.

An advise ko sa gumawa ng thread eh broaden your choice pero gaso pa din ah. No to diesel.
