August 17th, 2006 09:34 AM #52came recently from my uncle's place in the province. Mahilig sa kotse. He has both the prado and the pajero di-d, among other cars in his compound. Mas gusto niya ang prado. Rode in both, though once each pa lang. I liked the prado better than the pajero. However, sa pajero, sa front passenger ako nakasakay, while sa prado, right rear 2nd row, so medyo iba ang point of view.

Yeah Gen 3.5 Pajero, The Colt, Outlander, Triton at Evo X will be the runaway hits that will bring Mitsu back to life... Don't count them out yet... The Mitsubishi brand, as well as the company, is an industrial giant. Hindi babagsak yan... It's currently undergoing some troubles but not as problematic as the Detroit Big 3!
Saka kung titingnan mo eto lang ang brand na may name recall to bring out sporty vehicles... (sadly for the moment name recall also for car recalls) Pero as always, new model introductions that become hits usually bring back the brand from a slump.
Go Mitsu!

"While the whole front will be revised, modifications at the rear will be limited to new taillights, a mid-mounted spare-wheel on the rear door and a new skirt and bumper. Today’s characteristic rear wheel arch will be toned down to a narrower layout giving the car a more modern overall look.
Though adapted to the EURO 4 emission regulation, all engines will be left unchanged, allowing European buyers to choose between the 3.5-litre V6 GDI petrol engine with 200 bhp and the 3.2-litre 160-bhp turbodiesel. Japanese customers will again get one more motor to choose from – the 3.0-litre turbodiesel with 115 bhp. Buyers in the U.S. will get the choice between two petrol V6s only: the above mentioned 3.5-litre GDI plus a 3.8-litre V6 developing 218 bhp."

hmmm...so one solid curve na pala yung front (headlamp, bumper) kesa sa usual na the bumper juts out forward a bit more compared sa headlamp/grill area...

The bumper will still portrude from the rest of the bodywork. It's the law. This does not include the rear bumpers for 'trucks' and 'utility vehicles', hence some manufacturers can get away with not having rear bumpers (RAV4's, new Triton, etc.)
The first thing that should come in contact should a vehicle hit a wall is its bumpers.
