June 29th, 2015 04:53 PM #41The Vios will be the better choice over the Amaze. IMHO. More elbow and legroom basing on the Amaze's body. I could be wrong though, as I havent been inside an Amaze.
Regarding, City E and Vios 1.3 E. I feel that the city is too bare. My sister recently bought a City, she was initially choosing between the City E and Vios 1.3E. After looking at the unit, she decided to up her budget and get the VX instead.

August 13th, 2015 05:27 PM #42New at Tsikot, di pa makapag post ng new thread. Pasabit na lang po sa thread. Thank you.
I'm planning to buy my first ever car!
I'm looking into Altis 1.6 E, Vios 1.5 G M/T, Honda City 1.5 E CVT and Honda Jazz 1.5 V MT.
Magagamit sya between Mon - Friday home to office balikan, UST to Commonwealth
We also go on road trips with fiance and friends twice or thrice a month, so basically this is also a factor.
Budget is around 850k.

I'll go for Honda City specially sa matic.
City has CVT while Vios/yaris has 4-speed tranny.
When it comes to comfort and space...City, I think City has the best leg room compared to other sub-compact sedans and I think the trunk size capacity is also bigger.
Bonus pa yung wheels, City has 16" sa VX variants while Vios has 15" sa G variant.
Safety, the Top variant of City has side airbags while all variants have ABS and EBD. Vios have ABS and EBD for G and E variants only.
Sa FC, as per the test drive conducted by Honda from manila to subic...City managed to register 17 to 20 km/L city and highway combined.
What I like sa Vios G (top variant) variant is naka disk brake pati yung rear + naka projector type yung headlamp.
Well I maybe bias because I own a Honda City but what I said above are few reasons why I chose City over Vios or yaris. Go to Honda and Toyota website to check specifications and make a close comparison between City and Vios.

Segment wise Altis kasi nga compact car na ito vs the subcompacts choices mo.
Fuel efficiency Altis again since M/T yun.
Cost ng maintenance it varies naman, pero as usual mas mura imaintain ang toyota.
comfort interior legroom altis and city has ample one, elbow room lamang altis sa lahat.
interior unless you'll get the VX variants of city/jazz i think patas lang sila ng altis.
looks = depende yan sa tumitingin, ikaw na may final call dyan
wala na 1.3 ngayon, nilagay nila yung 1.3 sa Brio
