April 23rd, 2008 05:42 PM #41sir
i drive a mazda3 2.0 pero there are just times na sana mayroon din akong honda jazz or kahit city manlang, every time na tumitingin ako sa presyo ng gas lagi sumasama loob ko the reason kung naka honda city sana ako ehh di sana ang laki ng natitipid ko sa gas, sure mas mabilis ang 1.6 lancer sa 1.3 city pero sa tindi ng traffic ngayon mas ok ang fuel efficient car since kung dito ka lang sa manila 90% of the time hindi mo mapapkinabangan ang power ng 1.6 engine.

if you want a no frills but dependable car, go for the honda city because practicality never grows old

April 30th, 2008 11:36 AM #44Good day sa lahat!
Nag process na ko at bibili na ko ng Honda City 1.3S MT ( Bluish Silver )
Salamat sa inyong lahat! Will let you know pag nasa akin nah, excited na ko!
Sorry ulet! Masaya lang ako dahil naka decide ako ng maayos with the help of this thread.
I hope makakuha ka na rin ng tsikot mo.
Ingat mga repapips!

April 30th, 2008 12:05 PM #46Hmm...ngayon ko lng nakita yun thread nito. Pero additional feedback on my 2004 Lancer (w/ the Merc like nose). I purchased the car 2004. Up to now naman, ayos ang suspension, walang kalampag. 64K na odo ko. Still runs like new. Syempre, every 10k ang maintainance ko sa casa. No mechanical failures as of now.
I think its the way people drive their cars, kaya some parang madaling masira (except the Pizza, suspension talaga), pero the new lancer. ok na ok naman.
On Pasay - Banawe route, I regularly get 9km/l. So, ok na rin yun.

April 30th, 2008 11:58 PM #47Bim_26 inggit ako sayo! Congrats pare. 30K discount sa Vios 1.3E? Oh please, don't make this decision any harder!
That makes it P620K, darn it. Mapapaisip ka talaga. Anyway, thanks for updating us. And enjoy your NEW ride!
Hey thanks for your post, istan. This news is refreshing to hear. 64K odo, 4 year-old Lancer, and still with good suspension and runs like new. Cool! Is this the GLX variant?

To Mr. TS(thread starter)
- nakapili ka na ba ng car? any updates? kasi halos parehas tayo ng situation ngayon? actually, im choosing between Toyota Vios 1.3E, Honda City 1.3S, Chevrolet Aveo Sedan 1.4 at yung Mitsubishi Lancer GLX. its all because they have almost the same prices.
BTW Guys. nakita nyo na ba yung bagong Lancer na "GLX" at kung magkano presyo nalang nito ngayon? i went to citimotors alabang sa westgate ba yun? basta tabi tabi sila ng nissan at ng suzuki.
Then i was amazed that the lancer they have there is the ES variant in the USA. extended yung bumber at naka daul SRS airbags na.price is php 665,000 but for the month of May. may discount daw sila na 50k discount so lumalabas na 615 nalang yung unit.
wala lang share ko lang. hehehe.
