vios or city, parehong matipid
you can't go wrong with both cars. piliin nyo na lang po yung sasakyan na sa tingin nyo ay mas maganda ang condition. better bring your trusted mechanic

March 14th, 2012 01:56 AM #25you know, the sentras are good, basic cars that will get you from point A to point B with a minimum of hassle. i have a sentra in my barn, bought it brand new in 1997. i get 9-10 km/li. and after all these years, i still do not know what reputation they are refering to.. underpowered? why, are you gonna race it? so don't be afraid of the sentra. but whatever you buy, get the one with the least mileage. and don't be hypnotized by the cheapest price. repair costs can easily wipe out your seeming savings, and more..

March 14th, 2012 02:21 AM #26Ang facelifted 2007 and above Vios hindi papasok sa budget na 350k unless high mileage and/or base model siya.
VVTi is basically Toyota's version of variable valve timing like Honda's VTEC system. Its nothing special nowadays, even the N16 Sentra uses VTC, Nissan's variable valve timing system. This system is supposed to help make for better performance or fuel efficiency depending on your needs. The iDSI system gives excellent fuel economy but with not much power (inferior even to the Vios) and rather high maintenance (8 spark plugs). In fact the technology was abandoned by Honda already as it was replaced once again by i-VTEC.
Mas mura sa Vios, 1.6L engine na, mas maluwag sa loob, mas maraming features, what more can one ask for?

How about its FC sir? Hmmmmm.
So sirs, basically low mileage ang pinaka titingnan ko? Possible ba na ung car eh nasa 30k palang odo khit 5 years na? Di kaya tampered pag gnun? May nkita kc akong gnun sir eh. Thanks much!

The mileage is important but should not be the only basis.
30K mileage yung odo kahit after 5 years? Posibleng posible. 2006 Civic namin 36K kms (lampas 5 years na toh). 2009 Civic namin, 12k kms palang. Araw araw ginagamit hehe.

OT: damn, our corolla is still hitting 14km/L pag walang aircon, 200pesos worth of gas can accumulate a total of 30++ kms, sa aking pagsusukat,Last edited by zap.FREEDOM; March 14th, 2012 at 08:51 PM.
