Sorry for me, NO TO THIRD WORLD! I am a very safety conscious person...

Who mentioned the Santa Fe first?

It was you.

Stop flame baiting. This serves as a warning.

sir, kung iccompare mo ang engine ng Sta.Fe (2.2 4wd diesel variant) againts MS 3.2 . obviously lamang na po ang Sta.Fe,

Sta.Fe R-2.2L 4WD -
Max Power (ps/rpm) 197/3800
Max Torque (kg-m/rpm) 44.5/1800-2500

MS 3.2
- Max Power (ps/rpm) 163/3500
Max Torque (n-m/rpm) 343/2000

sir, kayo nalang bahala mag sabi kung ano ba talaga mas malakas between the two.
sorry mod OT.

As of now, clear naman na ang Montero Sport is the clear winner in the power department. Since it has a 34hp advantage over the intercooler-less Fortuner 2.5D4D. I have yet to ride in a Montero Sport, but I find the Fortuner 2.5D4D not only to be slow, but also lacking in headroom (and also interior room in general) due to the overhead aircon vents which they could have put on the sides like those of the SF, and the interior panels are very plasticky... I'm not exactly a big fan of automatic climate control, basta't malamig ang hangin na lumalabas, OK na iyon. So, let's just wait till the new versions of both the Fort and the Monty come out.

AFAIK, the Montero Sport / Challenger is also being sold in Europe. So maybe it's not really third world?

Nakita nya siguro yung Santa Fe Club logo sa baba ko kaya tinira nya agad yung Santa Fe even though its not part of this discussion... Oh well, di ko na pinatulan...
