Yeah probably because the left foot is missing something it used to push.

At least that's how it felt whenever I drive my friend's Lancer MX invecs-ii.

I don't know if it's just me, pero hindi ko talaga ma-gets how M/T can be a pain to drive in traffic. Mas nangangawit pa nga ako pag long drive sa expressway since there's nothing much to do except keep my foot on the gas pedal much of the time.

Even in city driving conditions, mas nangangawit pa yung right foot ko, not my clutch foot.

Depends on your clutch. Clutches built to take over 300 ft-lbs of torque (like the one in our Focus TDCi and the one I just replaced in my Lynx) aren't exactly gentle on the knees in 2 hour gridlock...

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

Mas gising ang senses mo pag MT. May tendency magslack-off ang isang driver pag AT which may therefore lose his focus on the road. Masnakakangawit nga ang AT in my opinion, nkokoryente palagi paa ko.

Well, it's been more than two years since I've driven an M/T. Yesterday, I woke up late so I wasn't able to use my own car because it was coding. I ended up borrowing my bro's M/T Getz and, for a lack of a better phrase... Isinusumpa ko na ang M/T.

My 2004 Adventure is still on its stock clutch, six years going. The engine it serves can't even make 75 PS, so you might have a point there. :D

But then, with all the people saying na nakakangawit ang M/T, I've yet to see any of them qualify the kind of clutch they're using and on what engine. So it's become sort of a generalized statement, short of being a cliche.

Nope. You just can't push start an A/T in case the battery is dead.
