Wow big time ka talaga Beni. Ang layo naman ng Otis. Parang ang konti ng dealer ng Mitsubishi compared to Toyota

BTW ang payat tignan ng Hilux e. Ano yung kinakabit sa body sa may gulong to make it more macho? Also, I don't like the tires and rims. It's too small
Fender Flares. At that price point, both Hilux and Strada will appear thin bec. they are not equipped with fender flares plus narrow wheels. Strada might already come with mag wheels but still the same thin size.

If you desire the "look", you may have to increase your budget and go for the Hilux G M/T 4x2. - 1.136M

I have seen some people buy the cheaper variants and end up spending more in aftermarket - adding the flares (installation and paint) and mag wheels.

If you see the 4x2 Strada in person, you may find it to look even thinner than the Hilux. The Hilux E still uses steel rims though (different design from the J variant), if I'm not mistaken. The fender flares may help it look bigger, but it won't help if you have skinny tires. I've seen Strada's without fender flares but with enlarged aftermarket rims. Ganda talaga. Actually, you can just go to some wheel shop in Banawe and trade in your stock rims for aftermarket ones, or even just Montero or Strada 4x4 stock rims. You won't be spending much.

How about the Montero manual? This list price is 1,198,000 but there is a discount of 50k. Can I bargain for a larger discount?

I will not push through na with the Hilux. I don't see too much on the road and I have more votes on the Strada. But I am now contemplating on the entry level Montero. I don't like the pickup without those fender flares kasi and as mentioned here I might still end up spending 1 million in the end (fender flares, larger tires and mags) plus I want a campershell pa.

So now it's a choice between a cheaper AT sedan (Altis) or a more expensive MT SUV (Montero).

What is making me hesitate from getting a Mitsubishi is the numerous complaints on their after sales service. I must say that when I canvassed for a car recently, Toyota really treats its customers better. They are very accommodating and the show rooms are comfortable too. Toyota Pasig and Citimotors Makati are beyond comparison. Toyota Pasig's showroom is first class with great sales people and receptionist while Mitsubishi is not a place I would like to stay in. The sales person I talked to pa at Mitsubushi when I asked about the Montero is so shady. I asked if insurance is free and he said yes it's free - TPL. Ginagawa ba niya kong tanga??? I said of course TPL is free because LTO reg is free. I said I meant the COMPREHENSIVE. Geez! What kind of sales people does Citimotors have. Should I expect this is if I get a Mitsubishi????

^^ If you want a Montero, just get a Montero since gusto mo ng higher ground clearance. Strada is a good choice as well kaso kung magcacamper shell ka pa baka halos pareho na ng Montero yung magagastos mo. Another choice would be an innova kung talagang loyal ka sa Toyota.

Regarding horror stories ng casas, I think most if not all casas have their own share of horror stories. Meron lang mas nahihighlight. If you are keen in getting a Mitsu, try Diamond VV. Dami na akong nababasang good reviews sa kanila.
