July 23rd, 2013 02:04 AM #21The FM Pajero is obviously the superior vehicle between the two (assuming that we are talking about the 1st gen Everest). But you get a newer car for the same budget with the Everest. Both are old school diesels. Both will take quite a beating without breaking a sweat. If you treat it well, both will last well after you teach your panganay how to drive.
Your choice really, just get the one in better condition.

July 23rd, 2013 09:51 AM #23mag everest ka na lang yung 2nd gen.... wag ka na mag pajero at masyado mataas ang resale pero mababa na ang value hehehe overrated kasi eh...
naalala ko dati may tiningnan kami na pajero 750k pa ata benta pero lokbu na kasi yung seats nya cracked na tapos dami na mga maluwag sa body... tapos firm price pa yung 750k...

Hindi naman issue kay TS yun gas and maintenance since suportado siya ni mommy.
I agree go with the everest, masyado nga mahal fieldmaster pero long time crush ko na din yan college days ko pa lang.

July 23rd, 2013 10:18 AM #25AFAIK a decent 2nd gen Everest would cost around 700k and above. Do take note that the 2nd gen is already TDCi, so maintenance and parts cost will be higher than the 1st gen.

hindi ba masyado malaki ang everest lalo na sa schools masikip ang parkingan...
ayaw ba nya ng crosswind or adventure??
