April 1st, 2024 08:01 AM #163according to LTO, are the CR and OR legitimate and not fakes?
what was the reason why LTO was advising you to talk to the bank?
what did the bank say, when you talked to the bank?
and what did the second owner say?
and what else did the first owner say?
ulitin po ninyo ang cuento. medyo magulo, kasi.Last edited by dr. d; April 1st, 2024 at 08:23 AM.

April 1st, 2024 10:26 AM #164Mukhang pasalo
First owner loans from bank the eventually sells it via pasalo.
Second owner re-sells to current owner. No mention kung binayaran pa balance sa bank.
Bank does not know or approves of the pasalo. Kaya encumbered pa din.
No surprise kung peke ang CR na hawak niya.

April 1st, 2024 12:30 PM #165pasalo.
the first owner...
sells the car as "pasalo",
but finds out he shouldn't have done that (... or did he...?),
now claims the car was stolen from them (despite the existence of the open deed of sale?)...
and the second owner... or a bayan seller... probably passed on the curse to unfortunate post-er...?
highs.
re-affirms my belief that one should not deal with open deeds of sale...
perhaps if authority declares open deed of sale as illegal and criminal and punishable... and actually actively went after them...Last edited by dr. d; April 1st, 2024 at 12:47 PM.
