Here's my take.. try to check if your guitar business can absorb transport cost, like lalamove etc. If yes, then you can fit your budget to a younger and reliable brand of sedan.
My first 2 cars were 20 year old Toyota sedans, they were reliable. I was assigned a civic EG for field sales work, this unit is indestructible. I owned 2 more civics, the ES I sold at 10 yo and 86k kms and the FB is still with me at 11 yo and 87k kms. These are tough cars. I tried to sell my FB last December and priced it near the lowest offer of 370k, offers were mostly 330k from Buy & Sellers with some at 350k.
My point is if you buy something like a Civic FB from a 1st owner, then you have a vehicle which is comfortably wide for 4 people and ok din for 5, then may tira ka pa sa 400k mo for repairs if needed.
Btw, kinargahan ko rin ng spandrel ang FB ko when I had our house repaired and a lot of other things. The back seats are easy to baklas and kabit. Maybe if sedan na folding back seats kaya pa a few guitars.

March 13th, 2024 07:53 AM #342009~2014 Honda Jazz. Okay sa 5 pax. Puwede din pang deliver ng guitar once folded ang rear seats. Mas maluwag pa sa ibang small SUVs.

Ay oo nga pala, the notorious 4jx1. Pero Hindi ba discontinued na iyan matagal na? Iyan din ba Ang makina Ng mga crosswind?
Mausok Pala Ang Isuzu engines? Ang adventure at l300 (4d56). Ang asbu favorites Kasi Ang alam ko.
Well, if budget permits ni bro op, Innova nga siguro Ang ideal vehicle preference niya.

March 13th, 2024 11:09 AM #37TS, hanap ka nalang ng Innova sa budget mo.
Gen 1 is OK, sabi nga ng iba boring daw tong car nato, dahil indestructible daw.
Pero yung comment ng officemate ko sa 2015 Gen1 niya is ang gulong.
Prone daw sa flat tires if long drive.
Yan yung experience nya, other than that OK naman daw.

March 13th, 2024 11:33 AM #38i prefer a boring car over an "exciting" car, any day.
my beef with older innovae, is the gradually heavier steering effort that comes with age.
i do not know how to remedy this.
generally, tyre warranties are separate from the car's warranties.
prone-ness to flats is probably more in the realm of the tyre's construction, the driver's neighborhood route, or maybe even the driver's habits, and not the car.
heh heh heh.
i used to have a 2005 innova. it was almost problem-free. my only issues with it, were the factory stick shift (replaced for 3K), and the failed alternator bearing that caused my battery to go flat.
and oh yes! it did not have an aircon filter. i had the aircon buoys cut into the plastic housing, so's we can insert in, the regular filter. newer models had a filter.
sold that 2005 MT for an AT.
