Honda City also for sedans. Super good value car, cheap maintenance, highly reliable, and performance is actually as sprightly as a 1.8L Civic (similar power to weight ratio)

    121 hp / 1106 kg = 109 hp/ton
    141 hp / 1239 kg = 114 hp/ton

ah.. honda city.. ok din ito.. yung isang kasamahan ko na convince ko mag try ng honda city coming from a toyota yaris..

natuwa naman.. mas refined daw ang honda city compared sa yaris nya.. medyo di lang sya natuwa sa aftersales ng honda.. sa toyota daw kasi every 5k ang OCI pero sa honda daw, 10k or 6mos OCI whichever comes first.. eh hindi naman halos nakaka 10k per year kaya ayun 2x per year pa OCI ng honda sa kanya

In my experience, baliktad. Since my Honda only requires visits every 10k instead of Toyota’s 5k OCI, I actually have cheaper annual maintenance costs with my Civic vs my Altis before.

after the 3- or 5-years' ownership,
there won't be no warranty anymore, to prevent owner from driving to the gas station hecho derecho oil change...

May workaround ba para maka-claim pa rin sa warranty kung kunwari nasusunod naman yung maintenance schedule pero sa distance criteria lang?
Syempre ngayong pandemic, may mga new cars talaga na halos hindi nagamit.

his defense is printed on paper, kasi.
but i suppose, it ultimately depends on how much he desires your friendship and patronage.

whypo? what's wrong with the car?
because if the car's problem is not naman related to pms...

Inconsistent talaga mga dealers dito sa pinas.
In our area, Honda requires visit every 3 mos regardless of the mileage.
Question is why iba iba policy ng mga dealers even if they are on the same brand umbrella.

sinusunod ko mileage. one time umabot ng 1 year for 5000km. had the turbo and injection pump replaced under warranty, hindi naman sinita ng casa.

panakot lang yang which comes first clause

    without reading the earlier posts...

I would stay away from the BR-V, Xpander (non-Cross), Avanza and HR-V -> a new model is coming/already available overseas.

I don't think there's a car sa market na di kaya umakyat ng Baguio... Yung 1.3L na big body 90's Corolla nga umaakyat noon...

Personally (my own criteria), I will look for a car na may...
    - DRL
    - Front and Rear Sensor
    - Cruise Control (kahit hindi adaptive)
    - Apple CarPlay (wireless is better)
    - CVT, DCT or 5A/T and above (no 4A/T)
    - reverse camera (or 360 camera)
    - hybrid system is a big plus

at its current price, if the new BR-V also comes with Honda's Sensing, it will be a very interesting option.
